Thanks to all of the dozens of backers who have joined in this effort.  I'm thrilled that we were funded in like a day.

Now, on to the fun stuff: Stretch Goals!

$1,000 Stretch Goal: Additional Crowdsourced Map

When we hit the $1,000 mark, I'll add an additional map to the book.  What this is is up to you, the backer community!

Comment below your suggestions, and whatever is most popular by the time we hit $1,000 will be the winner!

Thus far, we have one suggestion I'll add to the board: a clockwork lair.  I love the idea, and it fits into the concept behind Gauntlets & Gaslight too, so it's right in my wheelhouse of stuff I'm developing.

But don't be shy--feel free to suggest anything you like!

New Pledge Level

I've created a new pledge level in response to backer request: "Villainous VTT".  This is a low-cost option that gives you ONLY the digital map pack files; it does not include the PDF book of Villainous Locales itself.

I've received a few questions about the map image files.  As luck would have it, I've been meaning to spin a small piece of content off from one of my prior books into a useful standalone, so here ya go!

Check out the standalone building setting Watchspires.  Use this link to get it for FREE.DISCLAIMER: Watchspires was originally published as part of Berinncorte Basecamp, 2 years ago.  I've come a LONG way since then in terms of mapping approaches, detail, aesthetics, etc.  In addition, Watchspires is meant as a sample only; the Villainous Locales book will include a lot more information, detail, and content about each map setting.Watchspires was published as a standalone in response to backer request for samples of VTT maps, and in that regard, works well for that purpose. 

Map Suggestions

I've already received a few really interesting ideas for map settings... once we get funded, one of the first Stretch Goals will certainly be the opportunity to suggest additional maps that will become part of the book.  So start thinking of interesting ideas now!
